The United States of America, Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 gave a boost to Nigeria’s fight against the Islamist Fundamentalist terrorist sect, the Boko Haram, when it pledged to assist her tackle the scourge. Hope of a possible suspension of the ongoing strike by university teachers this week dimmed on Tuesday as a former National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Prof. Festus Iyayi, died in an accident involving a vehicle in the convoy of the Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Wada (retd.). 80 Executed Publicly in North Korea …some for Possessing Bibles

A South Korean news agency has reported that an estimated 80 people were executed in seven cities in North Korea, some of whom were executed for possessing Bibles. According to the Korea Joongang Daily, the first large scale execution under Kim Jong-un’s regime took place on Sunday, November 3rd. Roughly 10 people were executed in each city, which included the cities of Wonsan, Chongjin, Sariwon, and Pyongsong.
