Chikum Bank holds AGM – announces new opportunities for customers

IMSUTH Students Deserve Better Treatment

Last week, Imo people watched with disgust as police descended on innocent medical students, on a peaceful protest and dispersed them with painful tear gas. The students, carrying only placards and numbering about 300, were making their way to the Government House before the police aggressively stopped them with an unwarranted assault. Why such a non-violent protest, especially one of which the police had prior knowledge, should attract such insensitivity is puzzling. 2015 Polls: INEC spends N108.851bn – as Buhari appoints new INEC boss

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC announced Wednesday that it spent N108.51 billion to conduct this year’s general elections. The commission equally got N5.207 billion as support from various development partners for electoral purposes. The disclosure which was contained in the 233-page comprehensive document of the 2015 General Elections Report presented to the public in Abuja, also revealed that INEC spent N1,749 on each individual registered voter.
