New Officers to run the affairs of the Holy Order of the Knights of St. John’s International, St. Charles Borromeo Commandery 565, Ehime Mbano has unanimously elected Lt. Basil Iwuanyanwu (JP) as Worthy President at the helm of affairs among other elected Executives for the next four years.

Bro Basil Iwuanyanwu was elected President of the Commandery unanimously unopposed as there was no contestant against him for the plum position. It was remarkable that all other executive positions in the Commandery were keenly contested for.

Among the elected Officers included; Bro. Anthony Nnorom (1 Vice President), Bro Evaristus Njoku (2” Vice President), Bro. Paschal Nwagbake (Recording and Corresponding Secretary), Bro. Hyginus Orjiako (Financial Secretary), Bro. Marcel Ndu, Rev. Fr. Anthony Dieme, Chaplain. The Trustees of the Commandery comprise; Bro. Edmund Onyemerekwe, Bro. Kelvin C. Okonkwo, Bro. Dominic Anyanwu, Bro. Cyprian Ehieze and Bro. Julius Ezeji, Judge Advocate.

The Leader spoke to Lt. Basil Iwuanyanwu on what he hopes to achieve within his tenure. According to him, the completion of the Commandery Hall at St. Charles Borromeo is his major priority. He disclosed that he has constituted a 3-man Project Committee headed by Bro. Evaristus Njoku, 2I,d Vice President, Bro. Anthony Odu and Noble Sister Lois Mbagwu to ensure, the acceleration of the pace of work at the Hall under construction.

He expressed profound appreciation to the members and leaders of the Commandery for the confidence reposed on him. He craved the indulgence of members and solicited for their unalloyed support and cooperation so as to help realize his aspiration. He promised that at the end of their tenure in 2021, the Commandery will have a different outlook.
