THERE WILL BE NO MORE TEMPLE In the New Jerusalem there is no temple because the Lord and the Lamb are its temple.  Surprising affirmation.  It speaks of a new world already present as beginning in the earthly Church but which will be realized in full in the heavenly Church.  There is here an important relativization.  The future reality has no more need of what is sign and instrument on earth.  But already down here it is always necessary to make the passage from the visible signs to the invisible mysteries in which God communicates and makes Himself known.  This…
