  No fewer than 110 (one hundred and ten) fresh seminarians were formally admitted into the St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary Ihitte/Uboma for the 2017/18 academic year, as Bishop S.A. Amatu accepted their pledge and handed them their school uniforms during an impressive investiture ceremony held 15th December 2017 at the seminary compound. At the Holy Mass of their investiture, Most Rev. Amatu admonished the students in very clear terms that the truth is the only gateway to a successful vocation. The Bishop acknowledged the appreciable growth in the seminary as he declared, “This year is obviously better than last year.”…

The body of Hon. Chief Venatius Nzeoma KSJI was laid to rest in his compound after a concelebrated Requiem Mass at Chukwunyere Catholic Parish Mmahu Egbema, January 19.
