The Catholic Bishop of Orlu, Most Rev. Augustine Ukwuoma has commended the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria for their contributions towards the development of church and society. The Imo State Police Command on Saturday confirmed the case of a 22-year-old man, identified as Chukwuebuka Umunna, who allegedly hacked his grandfather, a centenarian to death. The incident happened on June 11 at Umuoke Otulu Ahiara Auton­omous community in Ahiazu Mbaise Council Area of the state. While confirming the incident to newsmen in the state, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Andrew Enwer­em said, “This is a murder case and the police are still investigating the matter. –  To be buried on Oct. 10 The Catholic Diocese of Ahiara has regretfully announced the passing on to eternal glory of one of her septuagenarian priest, Very Rev. Msgr Donald Okoro. The death occurred on Friday September 20, 2013, after a brief illness.
