  A three-day Christmas Retreat begins tomorrow Monday, December 11 at Maria Assumpta Cathedral Owerri. It will end on Wednesday, December 13. Assumpta Parish visits Ogbaku Spiritual Year Seminary

The Maria Assumpta Cathedral Parish Owerri visited the Assumpta Spiritual Year Seminary Ogbaku, Mbaitoli LGA on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. The visiting team was led by the new Cathedral Administrator Rev. Fr. Gerard Onyekwere and Chairman, Parish Pastoral Council, Chief Sylvester Obasi. The Pastoral Council of Maria Assumpta Cathedral Parish Owerri has condoled with Rev. Fr. Dr. Alphonsus Oha, Secretary/Chancellor, over the death of his mother, Mrs. Susanna Nkwomma Oha.
