Orlu Diocese: Bishop Ukwuoma creates 7 new parishes

The Catholic Bishop of Orlu, Most Rev Augustine Ukwuoma recently created seven new parishes in the diocese. The Bishop made the announcement at the 2017 Chrism Mass. He stated that creation of new parishes is a sign of growth, as well as to bring evangelization closer to the people. All forms of night vigils, crusade and adoration, have been banned throughout the Catholic Diocese of Orlu.  Henceforth, any parish within the jurisdiction that embarks on such activities will be deemed to have committed serious offence.
