Umuaka Igbo Taa visit Nnorie Parish

As Umuaka Igbo Taa continue their work of re-orientating Igbo children, they visited St James Catholic Parish,Nnorie in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area where they were warmly recieved by the Parish Priest,Very,Rev Fr. Umuezeala-Owerre receives Sister Aririatu

It was celebration galore at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, Umuezeala-Owerre in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area when a daughter of the community and newly professed Sister Lilian Okwudiri Aririatu returned home to thank God for His favour. Dozens of priests from the various parishes Sister Lilian had worked during her teenage years, trooped out to celebrate with her. Jonathan imposes emergency rule on Adamawa, Borno, Yobe

President Goodluck Jonathan has declared a state of emergency in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states.  However, the governors of the affected states are to continue in their constitutional roles.  In a nationwide radio/television broadcast on Tuesday, President Jonathan ordered the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Admiral Ola Sa’ad Ibrahim, to deploy more troops to the affected states for more effective internal security operations.
