  The number of candidates wishing to occupy Douglas House Owerri is swelling day by day. The latest entrant is Barr. Stephen Nwoga who said he is very much interested to restore hope to Imo State. In 1984, while I served as Imo State Chief of Protocol, I conceived the idea of restoring the old District Officer’s residence, Owerri, which I christened Douglas House, and the   name   stuck.
