3 killed, houses burnt Villagers flee Awarra Community in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, Imo State is  in the news again. Queen of Heaven Schools Egbema celebrate Maiden Inter-house Sports

An indelible history was made on Saturday 28 Feb. 2015 as Queen of Heaven Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools, Egbema marked her maiden Inter-house sports competition since their inception in 1997. The schools are owned by Chukwunyere Catholic Parish Egbema. The event attracted a cream of personalities and a mammoth crowd. Blood bath in Egbema – Rival Cultists Clash

No fewer than four people are confirmed dead in Obiakpu Egbema where two rival cult groups clashed. On Sunday, June 13, 2014 two main cult groups – Degbam and Dewell, which have been contending for supremacy, collided, leaving on their trail, tears and blood. Virtually the entire village is sacked. Friends and parishioners of the various stations in the Etekwuru Egbema in Ohaji LGA, Imo State, bid farewell to their pioneer Parish Priest, Rev. Fr.
