Fedpoly Rector preaches repentance at matriculation – Says the institution is most preferred in Nigeria

The Federal Polytechnic Nekede is the most sought after polytechnic in Nigeria since 2011 till date. This was disclosed by the Rector of the Institution, Dr. Mrs. C.U. Njoku at the 37th matriculation ceremony of the school held on Thursday, March 12, 2015. In her address at the occasion, the Rector revealed that 157,000 candidates applied for admission in the institution in this 2014/2015 academic session while about 5,000 were admitted.  She added that five new programmes have been added to the existing 31 programmes thus bringing total programmes to 36. The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, Dr. (Mrs.) Cele Njoku, has inaugurated five new committees under the Academic Planning and Quality Assurance Unit (APQAU) of the institution.
