Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has said that the killings in Plateau and Zamfara states were beyond religious killings stating that both Christians and Muslims were victims. He stated that the country is at the moment passing through difficult times and therefore urged religious leaders and indeed all Nigerians to pray to God for the peace of the country not minding where one comes from and which religion one belongs. Saturday August 19, 2017was a remarkable day in Orlu Diocese as the clergy, religious and the lay faithful from within and outside the diocese converged at Holy Trinity Cathedral Orlu for the elevation of eighteen able young men into the order of priesthood for the diocese.   The remains of Late Msgr. Basil Maduike has been committed to mother earth after a requiem Mass at Holy Trinity Cathedral Orlu, Thursday, 3rd September, 2015. The Catholic Bishop of Orlu, Most Rev.
