Bishops condemn Health Minister over alleged plan to legalise abortion

The Catholic Bishops Conference of Ibadan Ecclesiastical province has condemned the alleged subtle plan by the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, in collaboration with foreign organisations to increase the culture of contraception among Nigerian women, describing this as an anti-life policy. The bishops also warned the political parties participating in the Edo and Ondo State governorship polls to desist from violence and align with the guidelines stipulated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to avert chaos in the system. Mrs .Tawakalitu Aregbesola looks dejected, worried and disappointed perhaps for betraying her son and womanhood. Aregbesola (40 ) is one of the women arrested by the officials of the Lagos State government for using their children to beg for alms in return for stipends. Police probe Ibadan ‘forest of horror’ … Where people are killed for rituals

– 20 decomposing bodies found Police have opened a murder investigation after human skeletons and body parts were discovered in an abandoned building in the Soka,  Ibadan Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State. Officers also rescued several people nearby who had been chained together and appeared severely malnourished.
