  The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday uncovered an illegal brewery where malt drinks and fake stout are produced at Egbe-Afa, Igbobo area of Ikorodu in Lagos. Five of the suspects behind the factory were also arrested by a team led by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, who took newsmen to the scene of the crime. It was discovered that the illegal brewery produced malt drinks, stout and Ethanol which they pump into trucks to bottle at another location. A pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Ikorodu area of Lagos State, simply identified as Bajomo, has been rescued from his abductors. Bajomo was rescued by troops attached to Operation AWATSE, which is carrying out anti-pipeline vandalism/crude oil activities. Sources said Bajomo and some other kidnap victims were rescued inside the Maware Creeks in Ishawo mangrove, Ikorodu, Lagos State. Gunmen kidnap pastor during service in Lagos

There was confusion in a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God at Santos bus stop in the Isawo, Ikorodu, Lagos State, on last Sunday after some gunmen walked in and whisked away the pastor. It was gathered that the pastor, identified only as Bajomo, was moved away by the gunmen, who came to the church disguised as new members.
