  The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Friday urged the public to ignore Radio Biafra, saying the station has been broadcasting seditious contents illegally. Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has pardoned 16 convicts, including a 94-year-old man, Canice Egbunanne, on the nation’s 54th Independence anniversary. It was the first time in 10 years the state’s convicts got such amnesty under a governor’s prerogative of mercy.
