Our anger matches our Judgment. There is no doubt that there is a deepening despair in the land over the seemly lull in governance, and execution of government  projects  leading to liquidity squeeze in the backdrop of the electoral promises of Job! Job!! Job!! Factory!!Factory!!!Employment! Employment!! Employment!!! These familiar sound bites now sound increasingly like a cracked record and very annoying to some people especially those persons in need of jobs. There are no indicators months after reelection of the governor that the government would lift employment embargo but relatives and in-laws of government officials are smiling behind new desks….

Turkey Trip Again

  While pain and hunger continue to rock Imo State, as unpaid workers and pensioners struggle to make a living, Governor Rochas Okorocha and 200 people have again jetted out to Turkey on a supposed business mission. FUTO holds Intellectual Products Exhibition

The 2013 FUTO Intellectual Products Exhibition tagged FUTOLITE has ended at the university’s convocation arena, July 2.  It was declared open by the Chairman of the 10th Governing Council of the University, Dr. (Chief) E.M.I. Enemuo. In his opening remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chigozie Asiabaka said that the institution was established in 1981 as a foremost university of technology in the country with a mandate among others to “operate practical and result-oriented programmes and training geared towards transforming the nation’s economy from consumer-oriented with a sound technological base”.
