Gov. Bello apologises to Catholic bishops

  The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has apologised to the Catholic bishops and Christians over his alleged comment that those who opposed President Muhammadu Buhari were corrupt Christian leaders who were unhappy because looters were no longer able to pay tithes to them. Cultists storm medical centre, kill 2 brothers

Suspected cultists have shot two brothers dead at the gate of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Lokoja, while another 32-year-old man was killed in his house in Ogaminana, near Okene in Kogi State by suspected gun­men. Kidnappers abduct pastor during service

A pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God has been kidnapped by yet-to-be identified persons. It was gathered that Pastor Ayo Raphael was kidnapped during the Sunday service at the Resurrection parish of the RCCG in Kabba junction in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
