The feast commenced with the Holy Mass, officiated by Rev. Fr. Theodore Ihenetu, the Assistant Parish Priest. KSJI: 58 Knights exemplified into 2nd/3rd Degrees – Best 4 bag officer’s rank

  A total of 58 First Degree Knights (Brother Knights) of St. John International (KSJI) who scaled through the written and oral examinations organized for them on Saturday May 5, 2018 have been promoted to the second and third Degrees of the Noble Order. Four of them who scored 90 percent and above have equally bagged automatic elevation into the officer’s rank. Consequently, while other newly exemplified knights are now permitted to sew their Marching uniform in silver colour, the four who performed exceptionally well would sew theirs in gold colour.   District 8 of the Owerri Grand Commandery of knights of St John International (KSJI) and their Ladies Auxiliary (LAUX) Saturday February 4, held this year’s District Muster and Grand Inspection.   The venue was the KSJI complex behind the Maria Assumpta Cathedral Owerri.   District 8 of the Owerri Grand Commandery, Knights of St. John International (KSJI) has elected a seven-member executive to run its affairs. The District comprises seven local commanderies, namely – Holy cross 422 Owerri, St. Michael 539 Akabo, Holy Family 560 Izombe and Assumpta 655 Aladinma. New officers to run the affairs of the First Regiment of the Owerri Grand Commandery of Knights of St. John International (KSJI) have been elected. The regiment, which comprises the 12 local commanderies in Owerri and Mbaise Districts, elected Noble bro Jude Alozie as its new Regimental Commander, with the rank of Colonnel.
