The Nigeria Bar Association, Owerri branch, has condemned in strong terms  plan by the Imo state government to pay pensioners in the state 40% of their pension arrears; forcing them to forfeit the balance of 60%. Lawyers call for MASSOB ban

The Anambra State Government has been called upon to ban the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Onitsha Branch who made the call also said the ban should be extended to commercial motorcyclists, better known as Okada.
