Sad! Heartland FM loses Eddy Anyanwu

The death has been announced of Mr. Eddy Anyanwu of Heartland FM (Radio Nigeria) Owerri. Mr. Anyanwu aged 55, was said to have collapsed after delivering a speech during a public function in Owerri and died later in the hospital.   The renowned Igbo presenter, from Mbaise, was known for his popular radio program where he usually introduced himself as “Eddy Anyanwu, Onye Nkwaaaa”.   A good Catholic, the post he shared with his friends on facebook on this year’s Ash Wednesday was, “Happy new month, I hope you have received the Ash, Happy Lenten season.”   A former chairman…
