Knights of St. John International (KSJ) Holy Cross Commandary, and their Ladies Auxiliary (LAUX) 350 Owerri, last Sunday, June 30, 2013 celebrated the birthday of the patron Saint of the Ancient and Nobel Order, St. John the Baptist. Umuezeala-Owerre receives Sister Aririatu

It was celebration galore at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, Umuezeala-Owerre in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area when a daughter of the community and newly professed Sister Lilian Okwudiri Aririatu returned home to thank God for His favour. Dozens of priests from the various parishes Sister Lilian had worked during her teenage years, trooped out to celebrate with her. Irish Sister honoured for her “Save Igbo People Campaign”

-As Royal Father tasks Nigerians  over humanitarian services An Irish Reverend Sister, a septuagenarian, Mary Conchita McDonnel, has been honoured with the “Nwanne di namba” chieftaincy title by the Ihioma Community in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. The honour was in appreciation of the thousands of lives saved in the community during the Biafra-Nigeria war through the “Save Igbo People” campaign which the Reverend Sister, who was then in her twenties mounted in Europe and America.
