Dr. Solomon Amatu, Catholic bishop of Okigwe Diocese celebrated the Eucharist heralding the bestowment of Ugwunna and Pillar of Church awards to distinguished individuals for their selfless services and philanthropic contributions for the growth of the church and humanity. The Local Ordinary of Okigwe Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Solomon Amatu has urged Christians to be prepared for death at all times. Bishop Amatu posited this during the Requiem Mass for the interment of late Ezinna Cyril Iwuanyanwu held at St. Jude’s Catholic Church Umueze II in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State on Friday, April 26, 2013.
