– Honours 24 for outstanding role Christ’s faithful at the Blessed Tansi Catholic Parish Ugwu Orji Owerri, last Sunday May 6, joined other Catholics throughout Nigeria to celebrate this year’s Father’s Day. The Catholic Men Organization (CMO) of the church facilitated the celebration during which a total of 24 parishioners were honoured with various titles for outstanding efforts towards the growth of the parish. 43 little ones receive ‘Child of Fatimas’ Award at Blessed Tansi Parish

Forty three children, whose ages range from four to fourteen years, were on Sunday July 30, 2017 honoured with the “Child of Fatima” Award at the Blessed Tansi Catholic Church, Ugwu-Orji Owerri. This is in commemoration of 100 years of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the three little shepherd children in Fatima Portugal, namely Lucia Dos Santos, Francisco Marto and Jacinta Marto. Honours five parishioners   The Home and Abroad Union of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) Blessed Tansi Parish Ugwu Orji, Owerri North LGA, has reaffirmed its determination to render whatever assistance needed for the completion of their church building. Christian Fathers have been counseled to be proud in taking up their fatherly responsibilities for their children. The Parish Priest, Blessed Tansi Catholic Church, Ugwu Orji, Rev. Fr. St. Peter Station, an off-shoot of the Blessed Tansi Catholic Parish Ugwu-Orji Owerri, Sunday, August 10, 2014 celebrated two years of existence. The occasion attracted Catholic faithful from far and near, especially those residing within the Ugwu-Orji Mechanic Village.  Among them were some members of the Blessed Tansi Parish Pastoral Council namely: Sir E.E.
