  The Manager of Skye Bank, Abak Road Branch, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Ubong Ekpe and his brother have been reported drowned. It was gathered that Ubong, who was on a picnic with his wife and children, drowned along with his brother, Francis, at the Ibeno Beach, Iwuokpom community, in the Ibeno Local Government Area of the state. A man in his early 30s, Mr. Uchenna, hanged himself in his room along Abak road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital, after losing N22,000 to sports betting. Kidnappers kill businessman after collecting N15m

A businessman identified as Mr. Chijioke Anyanwuor resident in Ikot Abasi local government area of Akwa Ibom state has been reported killed by suspected kidnappers. Saturday Vanguard learnt that Anyanwu a native of Agulu in Anambra state was earlier abducted on February, 25, 2016 in front of his IkotAbasi residence in the morning after returning from a Church programme.
