In continuation of his evangelization visit to stations in St. Mark’s Catholic Parish New Owerri, the parish priest, Rev. Msgr.   The Imo State Police Command has arrested one Nwabueze Nicholas Lucky for the alleged abduction of a two-year old boy, Somtochukwu Olewu. It was gathered that the little boy was abducted at the residence of his parents at World Bank Area in the New Owerri.   Lolo Esther Uzoma, wife of Prof. Protus Uzoma, a university lecturer and newspaper columnist, who was abducted last Sunday in her World Bank Estate Owerri, has been set free. Gunmen had abducted Lolo Uzoma at about 10 pm last Sunday. Her husband, Prof. Uzoma who is also a columnist with several newspapers, told reporters that the armed men had stormed their residence on Sunday night, asking for his whereabouts and his wife had told them that he was not around. -Govt ignores workers Two weeks after workers of the Imo State Specialist Hospital Umuguma, New Owerri embarked on indefinite strike, the hospital has remained under lock and key, with the State Government looking the other side. The health workers downed tools on February 24 over non-payment of salaries for eight months among other issues.
