St. Charles Parish Umunumo honours Sir Onyenaguba

The Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON), St. Charles Parish Umunumo, Ehime Mbano has conferred Ezienyi and Patron award on Sir Longinus Onyenagubo for his philanthropic disposition.

Chief Onyenagubor was eulogized by the youths for providing support to widows and youths from the community and for his monumental financial support to the parish.

Responding, Sir Longinus Onyenagubor who had a chieftaincy title as “Akuchinyee 1 of Umunumo” by HRH Eze Justice C.B.C. Uba thanked the Catholic Youth Organization for finding him fit as their patron.  He later extended financial support to them to enable the youths execute a showroom project.

A native of Umumgbogh-Umuaro in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State, he promised to be relentless in supporting the church and youths with his resources.

He further enjoined the affluent members of the society to help empower the unemployed youths so as to reduce crime rate in the community.

Sir Onyenagubor advised the youths to take their studies seriously, avoid cultism, drug abuse, pornography and vices that could mar their career.

He planned to float a foundation that will help provide revolving loan that will help reduce poverty in the community.

The Parish Priest of St. Charles Catholic Church Umunumo applauded the awardee for his selfless service to the society and prayed that God will replenish his resources as givers never lack.
