Obiangwu community presents Eze-elect to Ngor Okpala SOLAD

The Eze-elect of Obiangwu Autonomous Community, Ngor-Okpala LGA, ImoState, James Ibe Diala, has been formally presented to Hon S.U. Okere (Blacky), the Sole Administrator of Ngor-Okpala LGA.
The presentation by the people of Obiangwu was in accordance with protocol of precedence and in-line with the rules and rites of ezeship selection and election in ImoState.
The SOLAD, Hon. Okere, while receiving the eze-elect, lauded the people of Obiangwu for their peaceful conduct of their ezeship election hence their presentation of James Ibe Diala, Eze-elect, Obioha 1 of Obiangwu Autonomous Community. He challenged the Eze-elect to justify the confidence his people reposed on him by being just in all his actions and reactions towards his people in the cause of his Ezeship. He promised to take his documents to the Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Government Council for necessary action.
Responding, the Eze-elect, James Ibe Diala thanked the SOLAD for his uncommon disposition and his pieces of advice to him and his people of Obiangwu Autonomous Community. On the spur, he promised the SOLAD that in the event of receiving the staff of office from Owelle Rochas Okorocha, he will envision and implement strategies to create jobs, reduce poverty, improve healthcare, build or rehabilitate critical infrastructure for an increasing sense of pride to his people in particular and Ngor Okpala in general. He also promised to chart a new roadmap for Ngor Okpala LGA by supporting the SOLAD in thick and thin, since his community prevailed on him to ascend the throne .
Diala, Obioha 1 of Obiangwu, according to High Chief Okere Fidelis, a community leader is a man of many parts, of grace, energy and dignity.
“From Diala’s trans-continental companies, many people from Obiangwu draw acumen and prosperity. From his struggle, they earn dignity. He lifts his community with integrity and industry, and his politics integrates progress in an age of compromise”, High Chief Okere Fidelis asserted.
In the words of Hon. Dr. Charles Obi Alaribe, the former Deputy Chairman of Ngor Okpala (1999-2002), the Eze-elect, James Ibe Diala acts with fear of God and confronts the evil of the age with poise, courage and candour. “He never seeks praise and when finally he earns it, he does not gloat. He exudes flair and éclat across disciplines”. To him, Diala has wealth but knows humility more. He has intercontinental influence. Alaribe wishes that Owelle expedites action on the issuance of Staff of Office to Diala for he has the capacity to better the lots of his people. He wishes the Eze-elect fruitful reign on the throne as Obioha 1 of Obiangwu.
