In his homily  Fr. Madu dwelt on the theme ”HOLY FAMILY of Jesus,  Mary and Joseph.”

He noted that Joseph was confused that his wife Mary had conceived through the Holy Spirit. He posited that Joseph was on the verge of sending Mary away when the spirit of God spoke to him against such action.

The homilist informed the Congregation that the attempt to kill Jesus led to his being ferreted to Egypt He informed the Congregation that Mary, Mother of Christ was steadfast and active in the life and times of Christ and even went with him to Calvary where he was crucified.

Fr. Madu enjoined the congregation to note that trials and temptations are bound in all families and at all times, as there is no perfect family.

He further warns that unless Christians spread Love and care to all, making heaven will be difficult.

In an address at the event, Dr Emma Bukar lwuanyanwu informed the audience that when his wife was sick and the going was tough, he made a promise to build a grotto of Mary if his wife’s life will be spared. But since the will of God has prevailed and she passed on to eternal bliss, he had to build the grotto in memory of his late wife and father
