Sokoto abolishes indigene, non-indigene dichotomy

In its efforts to foster national unity among the citizenry, Sokoto State Government has abolished the indigene and non-indigenes dichotomy.

This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Information, Malam Danladi Bako, in a statement issued in Sokoto.

The Commissioner stated that the State Government had deleted the nomenclature from the official language and communication in correspondences within the civil service.
