The leader of the animators of the HCA Mrs. Ngozi Adibe who spoke to us said the animators are those concerned with raising Godly catholic children. In a similar token, Mrs. Adibe added that the 1-ICA is all about children helping children, the richer ones helping the poorer and weaker ones. According Mrs. Ngozi Adibe, part of the philosophy and moral values inculcated into the children is that every child is a missionary.
Part of the post inauguration activities was a visit to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owerri, Holy Rosary Hospital (HRH) Emekuku, and Anchilla Motherless Babies Home (AMBH) Emekuku on Wednesday 21st December 2016. Gifts item with which the HCA children went with includes four cartons of toilet soap, 5 big rolls jumbo tissue papers, 11 cartons of Bobo drinks, cartons of Hollandia yogurt drinks, five cartons of small cabin biscuits and a cash donation of Twenty thousand naira (N20,000:00). The management and staff of these places who were beneficiaries of these gestures and largess where so thankful to the parish priest Fr. Ijemaru and his children for their humanitarian act. On his part Fr. Ijemaru, thanked the HCA children of the parish saying that they have fulfilled the teaching of Christ which says: “when on a sick bed in the hospital, you came to my bed, now enter into the home of my father”. He however admonished the children never to relent in such virtues as it will emulsify them into good ambassadors of the church.
