Imo people are impoverished - Chris Nwadigo

Mazi Chris Chigbogu Nwadigo, a gubernatorial candidate has accused the Imo State Government of impoverishing majority of the people as only percentages of salaries are paid, pensioners are starving, businesses are continually destroyed, lands are forcefully acquired without compensation, gratuities are not paid at all over the years; there is no due process in governance.

In an interview with our correspondent, Comrade Nwadigo also decried lack of employment opportunities and asked: “Where are the job-job-job? the governor promised ndi Imo.

In tandem with the “Not Too young to Run Act” recently promulgated by the National Assembly and signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, Mazi Nwadigo, a native of Ezeoke-Nsu, Ehime Mbano L.G.A. emerged the Imo State Gubernatorial Candidate of Peoples Party of Nigeria.

The founder of Chris Nwadigo Foundation for Youths Reorientation informed The Leader in a media chat in Owerri recently that his emergence as the Governorship Candidate of the People’s Party of Nigeria is a clarion call to the less privileged and the youths in particular to take their destiny in their own hands and ensure that the recent passage of “The Not Too Young to Run Act” is not a fluke, a political gimmick to get their votes, he said.

He advised Imo Youth to lend their support and ensure they vote for youths because youths are the leaders of today as tomorrow begins from now. Mazi Chris Chigbogu Nwadigo was an award winning best graduating student of University of Nigeria. He holds a Masters Degree from San Francisco University USA and currently a Doctorate research student of University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

The Imo PPN Governorship candidate posited that his aspiration is motivated by the poor performance index of the present administration.
Mazi Nwadigo and his running mate Njoku Evaristus Ndukwem with their mantra “THE IMO PROMISE” assured they will take Imo State to the promised land if elected into office come 2019.
