Dexterity and zealousness are two key words that could be used to describe the realization-work-tempo facing the awaited Modernization and Expansion Project of the Holy Rosary Hospital Emekuku.
These feelings on Wednesday January 23, took center stage when Mr. Rick Libbey, Chief Operating Officer of Hydro Industries, United Kingdom stormed the premier hospital with the noble intention to finalize the upgrading project partnership arrangements with the hospital management.
The latest project deliberation as usual involved the partnership presence of Mr. Larry Ejele, CEO DPZ Capital Limited and Uche Chukwueke (Project Manager of the Joint-Venture). Alongside the Uk-based Consortium COO, they were cordially received by the Hospital Director, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Jude Godwins.
Joining the hospital director at the auspicious meeting were HRH Eze Dr. I.I. Okoligwe (Medical Director), Rev. Fr. Sylvester Emetuche (Hospital Chaplain), other members of the management staff and students as well as a host of invited Owerri Archdiocesan priests.
In a policy-arrangement delibration which included exposition of Project Phase I: the establishment of a-World Standard Hygienic Water in the hospital, Mr. Libbey who was led in an inspection tour within the various departments of the hospital, while revealing the resolve of the Hydro Industries Ltd (UK) to remain committed with the arrangement and agreement of the partnership, urged parties involved to maintain spirit of cooperation.
In a release made available to newsmen, the Hospital Director, Fr. Godwins who was delighted with proceedings, expressed optimism over the realization of the project. He further disclosed that the British Consortium which based in Wales signed a “letter of intent with Holy Rosary Hospital on November 7, 2018, when its representative, Mr. Sean Price visited.” That exercise, he added, marked the initial steps in the implementation of the first phase of the project.
