Con Man on the Loose in Owerri Archdiocese

A con man that operates under various pseudonyms and, depending on the situation, claims to be an executive of one multinational company or the other in Nigeria, is on the prowl in Owerri Archdiocese. As the Project Manager of Chevron, he goes under the name of Engr. Martins Nwachukwu; as a builder, he operates as Arch. Robert and recently as the South East Regional Manager of Arik Air, he is known as Ifeanyi Okafor. He relies so much on his MTN phone number, 07067478228 and email address, emmanuelozoh@yahoo.com, to carry out his dubious activities. Those who have succumbed to his numerous tricks were asked to pay amounts ranging from N25,000 to a few hundred thousand into one of two accounts under the names of Miss Bassey Rita Ogechukwu with UBA account number: 2047664896 or another belonging to Mr. Amaechi Collins with Keystone Bank account number: 6005559541.

Those who have unsuspectingly had dealings with him described him as dark in complexion, of average height and in his mid-thirties. He has been sighted in several parishes of the Catholic Church in Owerri Archdiocese where he comes to target well to do parishioners for his diabolical interests.

He is an avid reader of The Leader and is likely to change his tactics after this publication. Parishioners are therefore warned to beware of receiving calls from unknown persons in order not to fall victim of this dubious character.
