Eze Okoro Confers Chieftaincy titles on Prof. Rosita & Chief Isaac Okechukwu

It was thrilling as the palace of the Traditional Ruler of Umualumaku- Umueze Auto Community Ehime-Mbano LGA, Eze C.U Okoro went agog on Friday 28th, December 2018 as Professor (Mrs.) Rosita Ijeoma Okechukwu of Environmental Health Biology at Federal University Technology Owerri and her husband, Chief Isaac Kanayo Okechukwu were conferred with Chieftaincy titles.

The celebration of the 15th coronation anniversary of Eze Chriostopher Okoro was held with pomp and pageantry amid fun and fan-fare as the occasion was used to honor some distinguished individuals who have touched lives positively and contributed to the socio-economic development of the society.

Chief and Prof. Mrs. Rosita Eziada Okechukwu and her husband were honored for their leadership roles at both communal and religious spheres. Prof. (Mrs) Okechukwu was appreciated for enduring admission into the university candidates from her community.

Chief Isaac Okechukwu was conferred a chieftaincy title for being a good neighbour, quality in-law and for his counseling and guidance roles which has been beneficial to many. Chief Okehukwu was conferred a chieftaincy title of “OmeEchere Oha” for his concern on the welfare of others. Eziada Chief Professor Rosita Okechukwu, was honored with a chieftaincy title as “Ada Ugo Chinyere Mba1” in recognition of her position as the 1st female Professor of Umualumaku Umueze extraction.

In a citation, Chief Isaac Okechukwu, chairman, Knowledge- Gates Schools; former lecturer and banker; a management and Investment consultant was eulogized as an invaluable asset; a charismatic brother in-law and a treasured neighbour who has always been supportive of developmental activities and human capacity development of natives of the community and the church.

Chief Isaac Okechukwu posses a BA Hons, MA (ECONS), Dip in computer and Mgt., NES, MNIM, a sports enthusiast who helped propagate activities of the Youth Sports Federation (YSFON).

The couple is blessed with four children including; Barr. Ezinne Sandra Dr. Ugonna Okechukwu is a daughter of late Chief Canisuis Uwakwe and Chief Mrs. Catherine Uwakwe of Umudibia, Umualumaku Umueze Autonomous community.

Prof. Okechukwu flaunts a BSC from Imo State University, Masters Degree from University of Peterson, Barr. Ikenna Emmanuel and Engr. Ozioma Olivia Okechukwu. Chief Prof. Rosita Jos, PGDE Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and PHD Federal University of Technology Owerri is a renowned Professor of Environmental Health Biology of FUTO. She was former Head of the Department of Biological Sciences; a researcher in many areas of life science. Prof. Rosita Okechukwu is also an Eziada Award recipient from St. Joseph Parish, Umualumaku, her native parish.
