Residents of Control Post, Owerri, want Imo State Government to save them from the activities of robbers, prostitutes and other forms of pick pocketers that have now infested the area. There has been an upsurge in harassment from large number hoodlums since the demolition of Ukwuakpu along Assumpta Avenue, which forced the nocturnal men to relocate to Onitsha Road. Returning the Monthly Environmental Clean-up

Since the inception of the Rochas Okorocha administration in Imo State in May 2011, the usual monthly environmental clean-up has been stopped. We recall, that the exercise carried out on the last Saturday of every month introduced nationwide by the Buhari-Idiagbon military regime in 1984 was meant to improve sanitation. But unfortunately, the present government in Imo State decided to stop this laudable practice for reasons only known to them.
